We are a downtown church, (directions) in the heart of Kamloops, where we have a 100 year history of Christian community and service on the corner of 4th and St. Paul.
KUC has been an affirming congregation of the

Rev. Dr. Micheal Caveney
Lead Minister
Dr. Michael Caveney came to KUC in September 2019. His primary interests in congregational leadership are in the areas of worship and visitation. He enjoys planning and leading us in our weekly Sunday services as well as leading various spiritual programs. Michael loves to visit and share in the life of our congregation.
Florence Ballard
Administrative Manager
Florence has wonderful family in Kamloops where she grew up.Florence’s work history includes administrating world-renowned concert halls such as Massey Hall and Glenn Gould Studio. Her work life has been diverse and includes being an actor, comedian, disabilities support worker, arts administrator, health and safety leader and media librarian.

The land beneath our feet and waters washing upon the shores of the Thompson Rivers are located within the traditional territories of the Tkʼemlúps te Secwépemc. No matter who you are, no matter where you are coming from, know that God is moving in who you are becoming. My prayer for you today is that you may feel God’s loving embrace and receive nourishment for the journey ahead.
AFFIRM STATEMENT
This video describes the journey of Kamloops United Church after enduring a fire in August 2024. After 15 months of restoration and rebuilding, we are glad to be back in the church space in December 2025 to Worship, play, and gather as a community. Watch the video to see our journey in pictures.
